A resident of Clermont, Florida, Dajhan “DJ” Van Rooyen has been a founding partner in Steel Worx Solutions, LLC, since 2005. In his role at the company, Dajhan “DJ” Van Rooyen has spent the last two decades building Steel Worx Solutions into a leading steel and metal construction company.
Today, Mr. Van Rooyen focuses on the firm’s daily operations, as well as incorporating technology and automation. He supervises a company that strives to meet clients' needs while also prioritizing sales and growth. Under Mr. Van Rooyen’s leadership, the company was one of the first in the US to obtain the IAS AC 478 accreditation. Since then, he has worked to help the company get the IAS AC 172 certification, a supplemental accreditation. He also oversaw the construction of the launch complex hangar at Pad 40. Along with his team they build the Miami Dolphins NFL training center.
Mr. Van Rooyen’s work includes raising the company’s profile in the aviation and space facilities sector. Presently, he is supervising a project to complete the Blue Origin Chemical processing facility, in addition to multiple high-profile defense contractor projects. Their recent contributions to the Blue Oval Ford Battery plant in Stanton TN and the LIDL ASRS refrigerated distribution facility in Covington Ga are evident of their expertise in the steel construction industry.
In addition to supervising his construction firm, Mr. Van Rooyen is a member of the IAS, MBCEA, the Self-Storage Association, ABC, and CEBA Cold Storage. In his personal time, he hunts and fishes with his family and spends time in the woods and on the water. He enjoys coaching his son in football and supporting his daughter in equestrian eventing. He is also a member of the local church.
